Etegent Technologies Receives Air Force Contract to Develop Non-Destructive Inspection Data Management System

Etegent Technologies Ltd., formerly SDL, a high-tech, research and development company, has received a $1.2 million enhancement of its Phase II SBIR contract with the Air Force Research Lab at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and the Air Force Material Command 809th Maintenance Squadron out of Hill Air Force Base. As part of the contract, Etegent will build and demonstrate at Hill AFB a non-destructive inspection (NDI) data management system designed to improve military aircraft maintenance planning. Etegent developed a prototype of the data management system as a part of a $750,000 Phase II SBIR contract, which was awarded in June 2007.
